Network Operations Engineer 
London, NW6 (office/field-based, covering London) 
£40,000 - £45,000 Plus Home Working Options 

Born out of years of experience at the cutting edge of the IT industry, our client is a specialist IT support service and expertise provider. They focus on high-quality, hassle-free service that enable business leaders to dedicate more time to their businesses and waste less effort resolving day-to-day IT issues. 

They are now seeking a Network Operations Engineer to join their team and support customers across London. 

As a Network Operations Engineer, you will: 

- Provide remote and onsite support to a growing customer base 
- Work within a helpdesk environment as a technical escalation point 
- Take part in both reactive and proactive projects 
- Configure firewalls, routers and VPNs 
- Build servers 
- Monitor customer infrastructure to pre-empt issues 
- Act as the technical resource for projects 
- Complete installations for customers 
- Refresh network equipment 

Interested? To be considered for the role of Network Operations Engineer, you will need: 

- Previous experience in a commercial technical role on a helpdesk or similar 2nd/3rd line support role 
- Strong networking skills and experience, preferably in an MSP environment
- Customer support experience 
- An MSCA qualification 
- A professional telephone manner 
- High levels of organisation and a rigorous approach
