Project Manager

Exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a company who work within mechanical/special purpose machinery sector who have multiple fantastic projects already on the high-level plan. A long-standing client of ours with a brilliant team and site, they are looking to expand their team and continue their growth strategy.

This is a permanent position based in East Sussex with a salary banding of GBP 35,000 - 40,000.

Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the project meets the agreed project milestones and is delivered on time
• First point of contact for the Client from PO placement to project completion
• Overall responsibility for the Documentation status/approval of the project
• Ensure project risks and issues are identified
• Manage customer driven and internal project changes
• Report on a weekly basis the status of each project to the Management team

The Successful Applicant:

• Degree level (Engineering Desired) or minimum of 5 years in similar role
• Prince 2 or similar project management qualification desirable
• Strong leadership
• Contractual knowledge, payment terms, liquidated damages, shipping releases etc
• Highly organised and able to manage own workload
• Decision maker
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of dealing with high pressure situations
• Quality beliefs with a continuous improvement outlook
