Our Residential team is one of the largest of its kind. We support our clients in a range of projects from PLC house builders, regional housebuilders, mixed-use developments, mixed use investors through to build to rent and residential properties. Our expertise in the sector, coupled with our approach to client service means that we are rated as the premier team in Newcastle by both clients and the legal directories.

The team now has a new opportunity for a Lawyer with at least 5 years' experience to join them in our Newcastle office.

What will you be doing?

Within this sector we are seeing significant growth. We already have an impressive list of major clients and panel appointments. Successful candidates would join a high profile team with the best exposure to high value development work available which will include conditional contracts and transfers, conditional options, collaboration agreements and development agreements, with a focus on high value residential development and investment projects.

There will be plenty of opportunities for client contact and you'll be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with these contacts. Business development is also an important aspect for all of our lawyers, and you will be expected to contribute to the growth of the team by assisting with the organisation of and attending client events, writing articles for our website or other publications and other marketing activities.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

We're interested in your development expertise and your proven track record. It goes without saying that you'll be able to offer first-class commercial advice and sector insight. You'll be contributing to a high performing team offering creative and effective business-focused solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented and enthusiastic residential team who will be as invested in your career development as you are. In return, you'll bring a broad and varied skillset that includes previous experience of residential development work. You'll need to be a robust and resilient lawyer, used to working in a fast paced environment.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing, busy team where you'll play an integral part in the delivery of some of the UK's most exciting residential developments for premier clients. The work is fast paced and challenging but the team are collaborative and enjoy what they do, which makes for a positive working environment.

That's not all, alongside a competitive salary you'll receive a flexible benefits package so you can pick and choose between the benefits that matter most to you.
