Head of Development (Maternity Cover)
9-month fixed term contract (full-time), with possible extension to 12 months
The Royal Scottish National Orchestra is one of the Scottish Government's designated National Companies, one of Europe's leading symphony orchestras, and an arts organisation with a long and prestigious history.
We are seeking a creative and inspiring individual to join us. Working collaboratively with colleagues from across departments, the Head of Development is responsible for creating and developing interesting and innovative proposals for presentation to funders (and specifically corporate partnerships). The post holder manages the RSNO's Development Team including: Head of Major Gifts, Development Manager (Trusts and Foundations), Development Manager (Membership and Subscribers) and Trusts and Foundations Officer.
The successful applicant will be able to evidence excellent management, fundraising, communication and partnership-building skills.
