Role: Test Engineer
Location: Middlesex
Basis: Permanent or Contract
Industry: Electronics
A vacancy has arisen with a manufacturer in the electronics industry for an experienced Test Engineer. At this time, my client is open to candidates who are seeking both Permanent and Contract employment options and can be flexible to accomodate.
Due to the nature of the work at this site (Defence Sector), candidates will need to hold a current and valid British passport and be eligible to obtain Security Clearance.
As a Test and Service Engineer you will be:
1.Responsible for Testing and Fault finding Production / Service units to component level using Test Specifications and circuit diagrams.
2.Fault-finding down to component level using Logic analyser, Emulator and Digital storage scope.
3.Repairing and assembling products and be able to carry out soldering to IPC 600 J standard 001.
4.Producing investigation reports and Statements of work.
5.Programing PCBs and devices using Programming Loading Documents.
6.Providing Technical assistance internally and externally.
