Job Title: Digital Print Assistant

Location: Temple Cloud, Bristol, BS39 5AZ

Salary: £15,000 to £20,000 dependent on skills and experience

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (9am to 5pm)

The Company is an envelope printing and mailing house Company. They operate two envelope litho printing presses, three digital envelope printing machines, production colour lasers and two production envelope inserting machines.

Role Overview:

The role for which training will be given requires data preparation, proofing envelope artwork and plate making skills from high resolution PDF format.

Data generally arrives in an Excel format. We use InDesign for the data merging and Bulk Mailer to put the data in to a specific order.

The role would also encompass creating PDF files for plate-making, generating reply paid envelopes, general administration and production on the digital presses.

The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Be able to understand and follow customer's guidelines
• Have a good understanding of design principles, such as colour, typography and composition
• Work well as part of a team
• Demonstrate good numeracy, literacy and computer skills
• Have a keen eye for detail
• Be an effective multitasker with great organisational skills

They are a 'hands on' business with a great team, the role is varied, at times they all help-out in production doing whatever is required for the smooth running and profitability of the business.
