Graduate Town Planner - Newcastle
HA 8046
Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience
Our client, a UK leading real estate and planning company are urgently looking to appoint a talented Graduate Town Planner to work from their offices in Newcastle. This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career in the planning industry and work on a wide range of projects, from home extensions to multi-million pound school and housing developments.
The successful candidate will assist the Partners and Associates of the team with the preparation and submission of applications and the continued development of the team's client base. You will work in a fast paced environment while gaining expert APC support and guidance from senior members of the team.
The successful candidate will either have, or be working towards, a Masters in Town Planning and achieving chartered status with the RTPI, and will ideally have either some public or private sector experience.
Duties:
* Preparing planning applications and appeals
* Undertaking site appraisals and feasibility assessments
* Monitoring development plan representations
* Delivering comprehensive and confident client advice
