What work does the Planning team do?
Our national team of over 20 fee earners offers clients a full-spectrum of expertise and handles a range of complex mandates in the residential, commercial and infrastructure and environmental and waste sectors, as well as contentious work in Judicial Review and Lands Chamber proceedings.
We have offices across the country and we work as one team. This role is to be based in our prestigious Newcastle office based on the quay side.
What will you be doing?
This role presents an excellent opportunity for anyone at the start of their legal career but we're equally keen to hear from anyone with previous experience, particularly within this practice area. As a paralegal in this department you'll quickly become an integral part of the team. Your role will involve handling a caseload of planning and infrastructure agreements and supporting our talented team of lawyers, by effective document management, legal research or client liaison on a range of exciting projects.
So what does the ideal candidate look like?
Ideally, you'll already have completed your law degree and/or LPC but in any event you must be a strong communicator, both verbally and written, with an ability to build and maintain effective relationships, able to work to tight deadlines, occasionally under pressure. We're looking for you to have a genuine interest in this area of law.
