Hostel Support Worker
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Location: Manvers Street Hostel, Bath
Salary: Circa GBP20,000.00 per annum (Basic salary, including overtime)

Manvers Street is a busy direct access hostel offering crisis accommodation and support to rough sleepers. If you want a rewarding job in which no two days are the same then come and join us!
We are recruiting workers to join our fantastic team delivering 24 hour support 365 days a year to support former rough sleepers. The role requires empathy and understanding as well as the ability to maintain clear boundaries and provide a safe hostel environment. Some of our staff have lived experience, others have social care work experience, whilst some have just graduated from Uni and want to develop new skills. But what all of the team have in common is a strong value base, a natural affinity for people, often with a range of complex needs. With an ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team who are committed to client involvement, you will also be innovative and creative in your approach to meeting client need. A 9-5 job is not what you are looking for, because you understand that supporting vulnerable people is a 24/7 responsibility. There's a range of shifts available for this full time role based in Bath.
