The successful candidate will need to oversee any on going projects awarded to the company which will require them to manage the project from the point of order to completion of works, including attendance at site meetings and overseeing the design of the system, installation, commissioning, programming and any hardware training to the client where applicable. Through a combination of site visits, information relayed by the sales team/designers, you will need to be able to review plans and designs accurately to understand the client's requirements.

The Project Manager will represent the company and its products whilst out visiting new and existing clients, so good communication skills and understanding of sound/visual systems is a must.
o Attending site Briefings/Pre-contract meetings
o Specification of Product equipment
o Keeping up to date with new technologies and developments
o Improving the value of the work that we can offer our clients by recommending optimal AV designs
o Good communications skills, both written and verbal
o Good organisation and time-management skills
o Liaising with internal colleagues to enable generation of quotations
o Production of all technical documentation, for all projects
o Understanding of basic CAD, Excel, Word
o Production of relevant H&S documentation
o Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information
Responsibilities
o You will be acting as Project Manager for a portfolio of clients, supervising and managing delivery of complex, multifaceted tasks and projects.
o As a team player you will be working as part of an energetic and diverse team to enable delivery of projects within budgets and time frames.
o Identifying resource requirements to ensure successful delivery of projects working closely with the Senior Project Manager/Operations Director to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
o Ensuring high standards of client service and management are provided to deliver or exceed the team budget, maintaining an exceptional level of client retention to build the business further.
o Ability to specify sound/video systems requirements from information provided by various sources.
o Ability to understand and interpret site drawings and schematics.
o Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and confident dealing with clients/designers and engineers.
o Ensuring client costing's are in line with agreed parameters.
o Some H&S training and understanding of basic H&S legislation is a must.
o Proven ability to be able to plan and schedule project timelines and milestones, using appropriate resources and tools, (Excel, Project, Word)
o Exceptional Planning and organisational Skills, with the ability to prioritise your own workload and deadlines in a fast paced, changeable environment.
o Programming knowledge and experience of Bose Sound processors, Symetrix, Audac and TOA would be an advantage as would some understanding and experience in Video distribution matrices (HDMI, VGA) to supply video to multi- screen installation projects using CT5/6 structure cabling.
o Setting standards for the business interaction with our client base to include our approach and frequency of contact to ensure a high standard of project management, both face to face and in other forms of communication.
o Basic IT networking /AV system knowledge would be an advantage.
o Delivering the above for all of our clients both in the UK and abroad.
