Junior Web Developer

Bury College is a Further Education College offering a wide range of courses to over 5000 full time students and over 5650 part time students each year. The college currently works with over 50 high school partners, welcoming students from Bury and the surrounding areas. In addition to over 900 students progressing to university from Bury College, 200 students choose to study a Higher Level course available at Bury College's University Centre each year.

Joining us as a Junior Web Developer you are responsible to deliver quality cross-college information services in a way that efficiently supports the work of the Finance & Student Information Directorate. You will be expected to develop, maintain and test software programs including Web systems to help the College streamline business processes, assist in the maintenance of the College's systems to ensure up to date information and key processes are available, be responsible for the accuracy of systems developed and develop and maintain detailed software documentation.

Experience in programming or web development is essential, a recognised qualification in an area of Information Technology/ Computer Science is essential and relevant computing qualification to full degree level is desirable.
