As Business Development Officer you will be shaping, designing and delivering a high quality ethical lettings service that maximises the procurement of good quality, affordable private rented accommodation.  This is a fixed term role for a 12-month period.

Working closely with Local Authorities and Private Landlords to build, maximize and deliver a refreshed and cost-efficient lettings service in the private sector, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement and further embedding of a grant funding programme which aims to deliver our client’s commitment to community investment within a broader community remit.

Essentially, you will ensure that we can demonstrate clear and tangible social value outcomes that make a positive difference to their customers and their communities whilst actively seeking out new business development opportunities for the business that add value to their strategy “Enabling Independent Living”.

With excellent negotiation, oral communication and ICT skills and the ability to interpret and explain complex legislation and guidance, to a variety of audiences, candidates must have excellent business analytics knowledge and the ability to make clear and consistent decisions.  Some experience in sales and / or marketing or private letting property management would be beneficial.
