As the HR Administrator you will provide accurate administrative and recruitment support to the HR and management teams on site. You will be supporting both the Thornbury and Portbury sites, with Thornbury as your base site. The sites have approximately 400 staff between them, and you will be interacting with management and administration, warehouse staff, drivers, and the union.
This is an exciting and varied role, in which you will own all general HR administration and recruitment. This role will require you to have an organised approach to your work, a keen eye for detail and requires a consistently flexible approach, with the ability to prioritise what is most important at any given time. You will become a brand ambassador and will take on additional project work within the team where required.

Your responsibilities:
Recruitment
- · Recruitment administration including creation of adverts, liaising with agencies/job boards, initial CV sifting and screening
- · Proactively engaging with candidates to discuss roles & arrange interviews, ensuring arrangements are made and communicated appropriately to all involved
- · Maintaining accurate recruitment and headcount information and updating as appropriate
- · Ensuring onboarding and induction process is adhered to and candidate experienced is maximised through to completion of probation period
- · Ensuring all appropriate documentation is completed and received, including right to work documentation and references, and input onto HR System or sent to relevant parties; log ins for systems set up as necessary
General
- · Processing leavers on system, issuing leaver letters and references, and ensuring exit interviews are conducted and relevant information fed back
- · Supporting with the administration and proactive management of all absence cases
- · Utilising systems appropriately, conducting data validation, running reports, ensuring data input, filing and scanning etc
- · Supporting HR Advisor and HR Manager to drive and embed the HR agenda across the sites
- · Supporting the sites to empower managers to take accountability

- Good confident user of MS packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience working within a similar HR/Recruitment environment would be desirable, but not essential

- Own transport is essential to enable movement between sites
