Lecturer. 29.6 hours per week. Permanent.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and dynamic Creative Media Video Lecturer within our successful and highly creative Digital Arts curriculum area

We are seeking candidates educated to a minimum Level 6 with experience in the Film or Media industry as well as outstanding FE and HE teaching experience. You will hold or be working towards a full teaching qualification as well as be educated to Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above or equivalent).

Reporting to the Programme Lead you will be responsible for ensuring high quality teaching, learning and resources. The successful candidate will teach a range of Film and Media units or modules across our HE and FE media qualifications (which may include BTEC Core Creative Media units as well as specialist units including pre-production, dramas, music videos, documentaries, corporate videos, professional development and historical and critical studies).

You will have proven effective teaching and administrative experience and industry knowledge of Adobe After effects and Premiere CC and working practices.
