An exciting Quality Technician opportunity has become available close to Cambourne.

Quality Technician

Your responsibilities will include:
*Inspection of bare and assembled PCB parts.
*Clean complete and inspected units prior to dispatch.
*Work closely with the sales team to discuss shipments to customers.
*Keep and maintain quality records.
*Respond to issues from customers regarding faulty products.
*Feedback internal assembly defects.
*Carry out training and mentoring to the PCB assembly team.
*Perform audits
In order to succeed in this role, you will be given training and guidance.
However the key skills our clients are looking for are:
*Good attention to detail.
*Ability to manage and prioritise a heavy workload.
*Exposure to inspection of assembled PCB components.
*Knowledge of IPC-A-610 class 3.
*Experience using Vernier calipers, micrometres and multimeter.
*Working knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel.
As the role is based in a rural location it is essential you have your own transport.
Working hours are Monday- Friday based around a 37.5 hour week.
