We are seeking a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Solidworks to join our client, based in Hertfordshire, on an initial 3 month contract. Our client are developing cutting edge technology within their industry which is helping to define them as leaders within this field!
The main responsibility for the Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Solidworks, is to create CAD models, drawings and assemblies using Solidworks and input data into the PDM system.
The ideal experience my client are seeking includes:
- Proven Solidworks experience
- Background within Special Purpose Machinery / Automation/ Material Handling
- Strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals and practises
- Any knowledge of PDM systems would be advantageous
