Fixed term until 9 th July 2019

We are looking to recruit a forward thinking, organised and enthusiastic Industry Placement Coordinator in the Engineering curriculum area. Knowledge and experience of the engineering industry isn't essential as training will be provided for the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will be required to have the ability to network, develop and maintain strong and sustainable relationships with employers. Key elements of the role, include developing, maintaining, reviewing, and enhancing our portfolio of industry placement opportunities for our students. The successful candidate will support students to secure an industry placement and assist them to put into practice the knowledge and skills they have learnt in the classroom.

The successful candidate will be joining an experienced team in the Faculty of Technology where we have hundreds of bright and enthusiastic students and apprentices, and many talented and experienced staff. We are passionate about providing the qualifications and training that meets the needs of local employers and communities.
