An established company in the construction industry boasting a range of specialist divisions and local to Devon, are currently undergoing a re-brand and expansion exercise. This is really great opportunity to join the business at a really exciting time!
Having secured a number of new contracts for public and private sector clients including refurbishments for local authorities, new build and fit out schemes in the retail and leisure sector, the company are keen to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team in Exeter.
With the support and guidance of a Senior QS, you will be involved in the complete commercial process from the pricing of projects and producing competitive estimates and tenders to managing costs providing measurements, variations and valuations.
Applicants should have the following:
- A relevant construction related qualification at min HNC level
- Ideally, previous Quantity Surveying and/or Estimating experience
- Fully IT literate with excellent working knowledge of Excel
- Have a genuine interest in the construction industry and keen to progress
- Good communication skills and be able to work in a team
