We have a fantastic opportunity working for a great health club operator shortly due to open in Bridgwater. The club will be part of a brand new and exciting concept for the business, and one of the first few of its kind to open.
Being a brand-new site and concept for the company, a background in product, fitness and operations would be a massive advantage. The club will be filled with brand new state of the art equipment which will be especially functionally focussed.
This company has the member service at their core and are all about delivering an exceptional service. This company values member service above all and are focused on delivering an exceptional service therefore you must have experience in developing and delivering a 5* service within a facility. You must also have been involved in the opening & closure as well as other procedures in the facility.
The role is very hands on and even more so considering this is a pre-sale and then an opening. As such you need to open and conducive in really 'digging in' and getting involved. You will be hugely important in creating this new fantastic fitness offering.
There are some areas that are extremely important and are areas that all our successful Assistant Club Managers have in abundance, such as:

• People Management- you'll need to inspire your team, develop them, lead them and create an environment where they can be awesome.
• Standards- you'll need high standards and a willingness to accept only the best of yourself and your team.
• Personal Training Management- you will have a track record of managing a team of personal trainers in a high paced environment.

There are some further skills that are important and are preferential for being a successful Assistant Club Manager at this business, such as:

I am extremely keen to speak to managers who have got a passion for the health and fitness industry. Ideally you will have experience of managing a gym either as a General Manager, Club manager, Fitness Manager, Sales Manager, Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager.
In addition to your basic salary and bonus scheme, this company also offers the chance for you to PT in addition to your hours and keep 100% of the earnings.
