My Client is a stunning unique Country House looking for a creative, enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to join their busy kitchen team. This 2 Rosette awarded restaurant with rooms is part of a fast-expanding elite brand, giving plenty of opportunities for progression.
The successful Junior Sous Chef will possess the below skills and experience;
- Self-driven, dependant and able to work as both part of a team and on their own.
- Experienced in working with local fresh produce.
- Ability to take a leading role and help with development of junior chefs.
- Experience of working at rosette level is preferred.
- Able to work under pressure and enjoy working in a continuously busy environment
- Proven success working in a kitchen team that regularly delivers during busy shifts
- Creative, can contribute to ideas as well as being receptive to working with new ideas from the kitchen team
- Sustaining stability and longevity in a chef position is essential
- Keen for progression
- A passion for producing high quality food is essential.
