We are recruiting for a HR Advisor for a large retail organisation based in central Manchester and as such is seeking candidates who would be interested in securing temp role with us.
You will be working in a state of the art office based 2 minutes away from Victoria train and tram station and 3 minutes away from Shudehill bus station. The office has a fully equipped gym and has 2 restaurants and coffeehouses in addition to an onsite shop and post office.
Payrate- GBP9.46 per hour
Hours 37.5 per week
Duration- 3 months
As an HR Advisor you it is essential;
* Experience with basic Microsoft Office functionality (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to consistently deliver high quality customer service in a professional manner; effective listening and good verbal and written communication skills
* Good organisation and problem solving skills
* Ability to learn quickly (on the job and through training)
* Ability to multi-task, priorities critical items and identify risk
* Ability to perform a range of routine HR administration duties through experience in generic administration activity e.g. data processing, record management, minute taking etc.
* An understanding of Employment related legislation and keeping abreast of forthcoming changes
* Contributes to a positive team environment - is helpful and supportive of other team members and understands team priorities
* Consistently demonstrates collaboration and a One Team approach to activities and tasks
Preferred
* Some experience in HR, customer service or related field
* Knowledge of general HR processes and practices and ability to interpret them towards a case
* Knowledge of and ability to use HR Technology or Case Management solutions
* Ability to adapt quickly to understand the business nuances of a complex group, its business complexities and identity to provide advice and guidance that is appropriate to the different culture and priorities
