Within the technical domain, roles and mandates are aligned with the company's focus on driving standardization and convergence across Product Families, business competitiveness and differentiation with proven and innovative solutions providing high customer values with low risks and costs across the entire value chain. Your responsibilities * Develop capability of the standardized 'Assembly' processes including routine testing, LSA, Inspection and QA, takt rates, industrial set-up, capacity and capabilities * Training from 'Assembly/Manufacturing and PII * Work with 'Methods & Assembly' to develop a comprehensive scope detailed in the Operability process as Platform/PF Standard requirements * Harmonisation of 'Assembly' management processes with 'PII' 'Methods & Assembly' including harmonisation with SMB's. Responsible for the implementation of the DfM&A process * Support Design and Gate Reviews Qualifications * Solid engineering experience in manufacturing processes and tools * Structured, driven and process-oriented person able to lead a team of experts/specialists * Budget, project and resource planning experience * Very good understanding of engineering processes and tools * Experience on mechanical/electrical design areas * Very good working experience in an international environment * Excellent leadership skills * Visionary thinking and able to implement strategy initiatives in his domain of expertise * Understand interface and impact with other technical domains * Have detailed knowledge of train/vehicle operation tasks and performance. This shall include a detailed understanding of safety and reliability tasks (manual interventions arising from degraded and emergency conditions. * Understand the structured approach and details for product operational validation and demonstration of compliance.
