Salary: Grade D points 19-23 (pro-rata of £19446 - £21693 per annum)

37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

Plympton Academy seeks to appoint a highly competent and enthusiastic TA/Technician to join our successful PE department. You will provided support to the PE department to include organising and preparing trips, visits and fixtures and providing help for students with Special Educational Needs. This role also involves working individually with students by delivering small group intervention programmes.

Applicants must be fully competent in Literacy and Numeracy and possess a kind and compassionate nature. You must be reliable and able to maintain confidentiality at all times. Experience in first aid would be beneficial, but not essential.

It is essential that the post holder has excellent interpersonal skills. They will have experience working closely with students and is able to foster positive links to help them realise their academic potential and support their pastoral needs.
