We have exciting opportunities for Investment Controls Analysts to join our Investment Operations department in Wellington Row, York.
This opportunity is a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC).

Our professionals produce prices for 3,000 Unit Linked funds every single day, supporting all regulatory & reporting requirements with the maximum efficiency and minimum fuss, in an attractive environment. Our customers rely on us to protect their investments for the future.
You will join the Investment Controls team which are a team of four. In this role you will be responsible for providing analysis and information to a number of internal Aviva teams and external parties. You will relish a challenge, thinking creatively to resolve queries and meeting deadlines. You'll enjoy taking personal responsibility for your own workload, you will continually reorganise and prioritise your work according to demand and you will look for opportunities to improve processes. You will own the pace of your own development with support from your manager, the only boundaries will be those you impose yourself.

The Role:
- Complete monthly reconciliations and take necessary action on the back of these.
- Produce monthly reports and analysis to agreed deadlines being the first contact point for all parties.
- Respond to ad-hoc queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Support the manager in searching for opportunities for process improvements.
- Support the wider team in their roles running the fees and rebates processes and expense reviews.
- After a period of 6 months you will begin the next phase of your training on the wider teams functions, fees and rebates or expense reviews.

Your Skills & Experience:
- You have excellent numeracy
- You have excellent analytical skills & inquisitive mind (does not accept things at face value)
- You own good excel skills
- You have excellent communication both written and oral together with questioning skills
- You own strong attention to detail
- You have a natural curiosity to identify improvements with a positive mind set and a can-do approach
- You are prepared to tackle challenges
- You have a strong dedication to deliver the right outcome for our customers
