This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead a team of talented and enthusiastic individuals to drive forward the delivery of the organisation's pivotal programmes, taking them to the next level. As Head of Communities you will be the key strategic lead for the communities business plan, managing three key strands communities, youth and green space. You will take on the exciting challenge of leading the business development activity by developing products and services, preparing funding bids, writing tenders and managing existing and new client relationships. You will provide strategic and effective leadership across the three teams, as well as support the executive team with your contribution to the national transformation agenda. To be considered for this pivotal role in the development of the organisation, you should come to us with a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience at a management level in a business, social enterprise or charity. You should have demonstrable experience of strategy development and business planning and a track record of leading the development of successful funding bids, proposals and tenders in order to grow income. You should be an excellent leader, known for your exceptional ability to motive others and foster positive working relationships. A knowledge of community regeneration and development will be advantageous, but most importantly you should come to us with an unrivalled passion for the cause of this unique and incredibly influential organisation.
