Working in our Technical team is an exciting and fast paced environment. Our core purpose is to deliver great food, sourced with care, every day.
Our Technical Apprenticeship programme runs in our food area of the business and involves working with chilled, frozen and ambient products. Working in each of these areas will give you the experience of working with suppliers of different sizes and capabilities.
As part of your four year apprenticeship you will study for a Food Industry Technical Professional degree. We will fully support you and you will be given time to help you complete this.
What you will be doing
You will be influencing the products that are sold to our customers making sure they are of the highest quality, safe and legal. No two days are the same, one day you could be working with our development and commercial teams turning new concepts into new products. Another, tasting products in our new test kitchens and resolving customer queries. You will work directly with our suppliers with the opportunity to visit their manufacturing sites, making sure their factory meet our standards.

You will need to be passionate and enthusiastic about the food industry with a curious mind and an eagerness to learn. It's important to be a team player with a planned and organised approach within our working environment.
