The LIPA Learning Group comprises LIPA, LIPA 4:19, The LIPA Primary School and The LIPA Sixth Form College.  In due course, we expect to add a secondary school to our group.  Our aim is to achieve an outstanding Personnel and Payroll function that is able to develop along with our group.

Payroll and Pensions Administration Officer

15 hours per week on average

£8,565.60 - £9,333.60 p.a.  (equivalent to: £21,414 - £23,334 p.a. pro rata)

Working alongside our Payroll Officer, you will assist with the provision of a comprehensive payroll and pensions service for the LIPA Learning Group, helping to ensure that all staff are paid, and pension contributions deducted accurately, in accordance with their terms and conditions of service and in line with statutory regulations.

In addition to taking responsibility for discrete areas of the payroll, you will administer our two pensions schemes for teachers and support staff including setting up new starters, notifying the schemes of leavers, issuing statutory auto enrolment notices and dealing with simple correspondence and queries as well as carrying out monthly reconciliations. 

Previous experience of pensions administration is essential.  Knowledge of auto enrolment regulations would be advantageous, as would previous experience of administering the Teachers’ Pension Scheme.  A satisfactory DBS disclosure is a requirement for this post.
