Survey Programmer & Data Analyst

They have an excellent opportunity for someone to join them as a Survey Programmer and Data Analyst in a pivotal role.  You will come in at the start of their journey to bring survey programming in-house over the next 3-6 months.  So you will need to have the confidence and ability to hit the ground running.

You will advise and contribute to new survey production processes, enabling a smooth transition from written survey to scripted survey.  Innovating processes and delivering the highest quality of intelligent data will motivate you. This will drive you to develop leading edge production processes and programming, to advance their offering to their clients.

This split role covers two of the most important elements of any market research study: creating the survey ready to send to respondents and preparing the data ready for analysis. Over time, you will have the opportunity to introduce new survey techniques and tools, whilst shaping the direction and development of operations and production.  You will ensure the transition from questionnaire to data is efficient and accurate while being innovative and creative.

They are seeking someone with strong survey programming experience, with 2-3 years working in a market research environment, scripting surveys ideally in Decipher. Knowledge of data packages, particularly Q and/or R, would be a bonus but they can provide full training on this side of the role. A strong communicator who has good numerical skills, you will be highly motivated with an appetite for taking on more tasks and innovating to make a real impact in this critical area.
