Are you passionate about affordable housing and do you have a desire to provide a safe environment and community for families?

If so, our client who is an established provider of affordable housing in the Birmingham area, is currently seeking a Lettings Officer on a part-time basis to minimise the void periods on existing Housing stock.

As a Lettings Officer you will be responsible for:

• Complete sustainability and affordability checks for residents with complex needs
• Ensure notices to quite are accurately processed and recorded
• To promptly advertise available properties via Choice Based Lettings schemes
• Handle all voids and allocations enquiries with a high level of customer service
• Monitor and maintain current housing management database for Lettings purposes

You will also have:

• Experience within a Choice Based Lettings/Lettings/Allocations role, ideally within a social housing setting.
• Excellent IT skills including strong knowledge of in-house databases
• Demonstrate the ability to make an immediate impact on a temporary assignment.

The successful Lettings Officer will have written and verbal communication skills and understand the need to provide an efficient Lettings service.
