Food Technician and Quality Testing

Your Food Technician Role
As Quality Testing and Food Technician, your role will include tasting all products daily for positive release - there are around 35 products per day to re-heat and taste.
You'll also be:
-Organising delivery of samples.
-Over-seeing production on new lines.
-Chopping and prepping of ingredients.
-Researching food trends and new recipes.
-Washing up and cleaning the NPD kitchen.
-Liaising with the development chefs and operations.
-Weighing and preparing ingredients for bench-top samples.
-Liaising with the technical team for shelf life and specification details.
-And any other duties as required.
About you
For you to be able to fulfil your role as Quality Testing and Food Technician, you'll need to:
-Love food and flavours.
-Have strong communication skills and a desire to learn.
-HACCP, food safety and auditing skills would be very advantageous.
-Technical/Quality background with a proven experience in a Quality Assurance role.
-Be able to make decisions and escalate decisions that may fall outside of your control.
-Be fun, lively, but hard-working and focused with a high level of attention to detail.
-Have excellent written English and above average maths & IT skills.

-Salary: GBP22,000.00 to GBP24,000.00 /year.
