Role: Business Development Manager
Salary: GBP23,000-GBP25,000 plus GBP10K Bonus (OTE) and Company Car
Our client a leading same day courier and logistics company are currently seeking a regional sales executive to join this fast paced business. Your role will include:
To canvass and convert new customers and manage an existing portfolio to increase revenue on the MK postcode. This role will suit an ambitious individual looking to take their first steps into field sales. A program of regular reviews will take place as part of the on the job training.
Responsibilities will include: -
- Planning your own time to best meet KPI's and targets
- Canvassing on postcode to obtain prospect information and win new business.
- Follow up phone calls to potential new customers
- Outbound calling to obtain new business
- Building rapport with new customers to ensure repeat bookings
- Working closely with Customer Service Advisors to ensure customer's needs are satisfied
- Maintain an up to date company CRM system
- Organised meetings with potential/existing customers
Experience
- Experience in outbound sales
- Experience of meeting/exceeding monthly targets
- Meeting daily/weekly KPI's to ensure positive results
- Awareness of the UK transport market (Desirable)
