Warehouse and Operatives

A food wholesale & catering distribution company is looking for hardworking punctual enthusiastic and very reliable warehouse operatives.

The role will involve manual handling activities I e. pushing pulling lifting and carrying.

The duties will include
- Preparing orders for shipment
- Scanning
- Delivering goods to customers
- Booking goods in
- Booking goods out
- Picking and Packing
- Loading and unloading
- Moving Pallets
- Shelving
- Matching delivery notes with goods received
- Matching delivery notes to goods distributed to customers
- Keeping warehouse clean and tidy
- as being able to clean well is also very essential
- Going out on deliveries and help deliver goods to customers

Personal Attributes
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Well organised and able to work under pressure
- Able to work without micromanagement and use own initiative
- Must be able to scan products
- Must also be accurate and efficient
- Able to work in a warehouse team environment
- To have an approachable personality
- Be flexible and easy going
- A good work ethic and commitment to complete given tasks
- To have a reasonable fitness

This role is permanently based in Purfleet, West Thurrock
