Director of Finance and Resources (part time)

Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting for a growing and exciting national charity based in Oxfordshire. An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional and ambitious Director of Finance and Resources to support the organisation's day to day finances and team on a part time basis. This challenging role will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer while supporting the wider organisation with responsibility for overseeing all aspects of finance. The Director of Finance will lead all financial activities of the business, including taking the lead on all budgeting, forecasting and planning and compliance with statutory requirements. They will manage costs of the business effectively as well as overseeing all aspects of cash flow, monitor bank accounts and liaise with auditors. A key part to role will be to prepare Board reports and agenda and attend Board meetings for the Trust and its subsidiaries while advising the Trustees on financial and governance issues. The successful candidate will enjoy a highly varied workload, not only leading the finance function for the organisation but also playing a key role in the strategy of the charity and corporate services team. You will be a fully qualified ACA/CCAB finance professional, who is driven and well organised, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering high quality statutory and management accounting services for group companies. The role would suit an individual looking to move in the charity sector from a commercial organisation or an individual working in a similar post the public sector. The charity has flexibility on the working pattern but keen to secure a candidate looking for four days a week.
