Warehouse/Counter Operative

Portfolio are seeking a Warehouse Operative with a keen, enthusiastic and self motivated attitude to join our clients Warehouse crew in Alton.
The role is to ensure full support primarily to the Warehouse, manual lifting and including shop counter customer requirements, if needed. This resulting in smooth running and handling of customer orders and stock.
Main responsibilities:
* Load orders from Warehouse into vehicles
* Load Customers orders into vehicles
* Van deliveries in and check orders off
* Ensure all outside areas are clean and tidy
* Print bar codes and attach to goods
* Sort order discrepancies with suppliers
* Update deliveries to Sage
* Replenish stock in loading aisle
* Make up products for resale and display purposes
* Occasionally serve customers in farm shop - if required
* Any other duties assigned for the needs of the company
Skills and Attitude;
* Fit and active to take on the primary tasks of this physical/lifting role
* Polite and friendly in order to speak to Customers (when needed)
* Basic IT skills to use touch screen stock system (training will be given)
Due to location - transport is needed
