Excellent Account Director role for an experienced client manager with an excellent grasp of numbers, communication skills and a consultative attitude. This is an opportunity to be given your own accounts, your own territory and develop them as if it was your own business; with excellent rewards available.
The company are a very successful consultancy based in the Huddersfield area and they name some of the most well-known brands in the country as their long-term clients. They act as trusted advisers and enable them to keep their customers happy. To truly understand the role will take you 18 months to 2 years so don't expect to know everything straight away - this isn't a role for those who aren't able to take on a lot of information. You will have a combination of attributes; thorough, detailed, analytical, yet an excellent people person - able to create rapport, build trust and develop relationships. A team player is a must but you will have times working under your own steam being the only point of contact between your client and the excellent team working behind you.
You need to be numerically strong, someone who would be terrified of A-level Maths need not apply and writing an informative and compelling report must come naturally to you. A strong project manager and communicator almost comes without saying along with a high level of emotional intelligence and self-motivation. You will be a good team manager, able to get the best out of more junior staff of different personalities.
