Interim Financial Accountant (Canary Wharf)

Are you a fully qualified accountant looking for a varied and exciting opportunity to join an agile and growing team in a new position covering various areas based in Canary Wharf

This client is a workplace pension provider and the role is working in their Financial Reporting team of 4 (this is an additional position)

The team covers 3 areas:
Scheme Accounting
Statutory Reporting
Management/internal reporting

They are looking for someone who would be interested in getting involved in all 3 areas but who can bring good experience in Year End auditing, Balance Sheet Reconciliations and general financial accounting.


They are quite open minded to your previous experience though working for the big 4 would be a definite advantage - the most important thing for them is your attitude!

They need someone who is keen to get involved in all areas, is agile in their working and can take on new skills on quickly and turn the day to day role around efficiently and effectively

They do not need someone who is looking to concentrate on technical rules but who is open to all areas.

They need an energetic and intelligent person who picks up things quickly and ideally comes from a Financial Services background and any experience within scheme accounting would be an asset but by no means essential

This is an urgent requirement and our client will also consider candidates on an interim basis paying £400 per day
