Bristol (office/field based, with travel throughout Bristol and the surrounding area)

Part of PPG Industries, Brown Brothers is the nation’s leading distributor to the refinish industry. We are now looking for a Van Driver to join our team in Bristol. 

As a Van Driver, you will deliver orders to customers based throughout Bristol and the surrounding area. 

Ensuring that a first-class level of customer service is delivered, you will: 

- Load your van and pick items for delivery 
- Drive the branch delivery vehicle in a safe and responsible manner 
- Build strong working relationships with customers 
- Collect customer payments 
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed 
- Notify the Branch Supervisor of any issues 

Interested? You will need a full, clean driving licence, and experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate. 

Approachable, friendly and confident, as a Van Driver, you’ll have great communication and customer service skills. You’ll also be flexible, organised and able to effectively plan your daily delivery route. 

Please note, this role will involve lifting items weighing up to 25kg. As such, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a medical examination on an annual basis. 

This is a full time role, working 40 hours per week, usually 8:00 – 17:00, with a 30 unpaid lunch and 2x15 minute unpaid breaks.
