CAD Technician - Technical Interior Designer - AutoCAD - Design - Sket

Junior Technical Interior Designer position within a leading commercial design & build company in Surrey.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a graduate/junior designer based in the Surrey area, who is looking for a first career move. You will be furthering your knowledge in the company of some brilliant design minds. People who know the industry inside out will be training and mentoring you.

Key responsibilities:

• Produce CAD drawings in AutoCAD and Sketchup from freehand sketches and instructions
• Make amendments to drawing work
• Update issue sheets/schedules
• Print & issue of drawings to site
• Conduct site surveys with Manager or Designer and visit build sites when required

Skills & Experience required:

• A portfolio of drawing work
• Degree or Diploma in Interior Architecture/Technical Design/Architectural Technology or equivalent
• AutoCAD proficient/Architectural Desktop/Sketchup Revit experience may be advantageous
• A basic understanding of Architectural Detailing, Interior Fit-out and building services
