Process Development Technologist

My client, a successful food manufacturer in Spalding is seeking a Process Development Technologist to support the Development department for all customers on site from concept to process. This exciting opportunity will give you access to one of the UKs premium food companies.

Reporting to the Development Manager you will assist and support the NPD team in the development and launching of products

Your Duties and Responsibilities

Adhere to customer specific brand standards
Support customer site visits
Support the Development Manager & Product Manager with timely communication.
Support the Technologists management of Development projects.
Support long term launch plans
Monitor product quality
Have a clear understanding of all existing packaging on site
Monitor compliance with Company policies and procedures

What You Will Need To Succeed

Food technology degree or equivalent relevant experience (minimum 1 year)
Proven success in an NPD / Process environment
Knowledge of retailer and/or brand spec and artwork process
Excellent communicator
Ability to work from recipe sheets to produce factory samples
Passion for food
Attention to detail and accurate generation of paperwork
"Can do Approach" and eager to learn, self-starter / enthusiastic
