The Role

As part of our continued focus on developing and shaping our customer services and supporting our wider development strategy, we are looking for an Income Management Team Leader (1 post) to join our Operations Team.

You will be expected to provide line management and leadership to a team of Income Management Specialists.  You will be responsible for monitoring performance across a range of metrics to support to the team to achieve the agreed KPIs and objectives.  In role, you will work closely with internal and external partners, deliver income maximisation campaigns, support the training objectives for the wider organisation and deliver objectives from the Income Management Action Plan.

About You

To be successful, you will have a good knowledge and awareness of housing-related law and regulations specific to income management. You must have experience of managing a team to deliver high performance, and of debt collecting - ideally in the social housing sector.

Experience of developing external partnerships in order to achieve positive, collaborative outcomes is essential.  As is an up to date knowledge of the welfare system, with an awareness of Universal Credit and the challenges it poses for the business and our customers.

This is fixed term position for 10 months to cover a period of maternity leave
