Van Driver

We're recruiting an experienced 3.5t multi-drop delivery driver for a national tool, plant & equipment hire company working out of their busy branch in Croydon, Surrey.

As the driver you'll be required to undertake the deliveries and collections of hire equipment from various construction sites in a timely and courteous manner.

You'll hold a current driving licence (preferably with CE towing entitlement), have experience of route planning, a flexible approach and as the face of the company, a positive, upbeat, customer-focused attitude.

You will be loading and unloading hire items so there will be some heavy lifting involved in the job, and previous experience of delivery driving for a tool / plant hire company or builders merchants is preferred.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm, plus every other Saturday morning, 8.00am - 12.00pm.

Salary is between GBP18,000 - GBP21,000 dependent upon experience, plus branch bonus. In addition the position comes with a generous holiday entitlement of 22 days plus bank holidays.
