Recruitment Advisor
The Corporate Resourcing Team is responsible for engaging, attracting and securing the best talent in the market to work for Dixons Carphone for our corporate functions. We work across all of our brands, Currys PC World, Dixons Travel, Carphone Warehouse and iD Mobile and cover all disciplines and functions from Finance, Commercial, Marketing, IT and Online through to Business Change, Legal, HR and Central Operations.
In this role you'll work with Resourcing Business Partners, Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to successfully deliver recruitment solutions across the Commercial, Marketing and Onlineareas of the business. Existing recruitment experience in these areas either from an Agency or In-House background is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities:
•Deploy a comprehensive range of traditional and innovative candidate sourcing methodologies to attract and engage high quality candidates for selection against current and future roles
•Qualify and deliver candidates for assessment and selection against a specific functional brief, within agreed timelines; support Resourcing Business Partners and Managers to determine and deliver the most relevant and effective direct sourcing strategy to attract candidates across a broad range of complex specialist roles and higher volume mandates
•Deliver consistently against agreed resourcing metrics and SLAs; identify key trends and opportunities to improve attraction and selection methods.
•Support continuous improvement projects to improve service levels and key recruitment metrics.
•Work cross-functionally as required by volume and criticality of resourcing requirements across the business; support ad hoc Resourcing Centre of Excellence projects as directed
Skills & experience required:
•Excellent knowledge of the tools, techniques and methodologies used to underpin effective candidate attraction and sourcing and proven ability to apply them to deliver positive outcomes
•Excellent communication skills with an ability to engage with and influence a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders; concise, logical and impactful communicator across media platforms
•Good knowledge and experience of working with an agency or in-house resourcing function within a complex and dynamic operating environment; demonstrative understanding of how Resourcing can positively work in partnership with business/corporate functions to achieve desired outcomes
•Excellent knowledge and experience of utilising recruitment systems and technologies in support of operational delivery; able to demonstrate positive tangible outcomes from system utilisation
•Excellent communication skills with a focus on negotiating and influencing to senior level both internal and external to the organisation
