What Will You Be Doing?
This is an excellent opportunity working for an established recruitment company based in Birmingham City Centre. You will be supporting the Recruitment Consultant recommending candidates for the roles and matching their skills to the client requirements. This opportunity offers genuine career progression.
The role of the Apprentice Resourcer is vital but simple - working alongside our Resource Consultant - you will be the main point of contact between clients who are looking to hire apprentices and the young people who are looking for apprenticeship roles.
Duties will include:
* Administration duties including updating company CRM systems
* Processing applicants' details
* Pre-screening candidates over the phone
* Making recommendations to Consultant
* Update candidates on vacancy progress
* Learn policy, procedures and company services
* Develop knowledge surrounding the sector and keep up to date with changing legislation
* Sourcing candidates via job boards
What Qualities Does Our Apprentice Resourcer Need To Have?
* Chatterbox - do you like to talk on the phone? If you've ever gone over your allowance on your mobile - we want to speak to you!
* Convincing - have you worked in Sales before? If you've had to sell products/services to customers before - we want to hear from you!
* Nosey - are you someone who likes to ask questions? If 'Why' is your favourite word - we want to speak with you!
* Competitive - do you enjoy competing challenges and overcoming obstacles? If you see objectives as something to be smashed - we want to hear from you!
* Focused - are you someone who can work on their own? Can you organise your own schedule? If you've ever made a timetable - we want to speak with you!
* Academic - have you achieved a minimum of Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths & English? If so, we want to hear from you!

* Completion of your L2 Recruitment Resourcer Apprenticeship will afford you an opportunity to follow a number of career paths within Solvo Vir from being the resourcing guru to transitioning across into the business development team. Unlike most apprenticeships, your role within Solvo Vir is not set in stone, if you have a desire to move into a different area of the business - we can support your transition.
* As long as you have the drive and the determination to succeed - we'll provide you with the tools to reach your goals.
* You will also be eligible for professional registration with the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP).
