Architectural Technician / Technologist
Are you an Architectural Technician with experience of residential schemes?
Do you have excellent software skills including Revit experience?
Our client is an established Architectural practice with over 100 staff spread across two offices.
They have a requirement for an experienced Architectural Technician to join their Housing team based in Newport.
Their residential work encompasses bespoke developments, affordable and retirement living schemes across the south of England and Wales
The successful Architectural Technician / Technologist will take responsibility for the production of working drawings packages, preparation of feasibility studies, sketch designs, specifications and reports.
You will also have the opportunity to manage and deliver your own projects.
You will have a sound knowledge of the planning process and building regulations and be educated to at least HNC / HND level in a construction related discipline.
You'll have technological knowledge of building detailing and modern construction materials.
Experience in the residential sector is essential, while a proven ability with Revit would be beneficial.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Architectural Technician to work on challenging and interesting projects with the support to progress towards MCIAT accreditation.
