Advocacy Kirklees Administrator
NJC Scale 4 scp 18 - 21, starting at GBP18,870 pa/pro rata
18.5 hours per week
Location: based in Dewsbury
Advocacy Kirklees is a new advocacy service in Kirklees, and brings together the Care Act, Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy, Relevant Persons Representative Service, Independent NHS Complaints Advocacy and General Advocacy into one single service delivered by Touchstone and Advonet.
The successful post holder will be expected to provide administrative support to the advocacy service will have experience of taking referrals, telephone enquiries and developing reporting systems for commissioners or be willing to undertake training required to achieve this.
You will have strong interpersonal skills and adopt a person centred approach and be able to work independently and as part of a team to support vulnerable people, promoting all forms of advocacy.
Confidence and experience of using a range of Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word and Excel is an essential requirement of this post.
