Delivery Office Manager - Luton

We are looking for a new Delivery Office Manager in our Mail Processing Unit (MPU) to join our office in Luton, managing approximately 6 Line Managers.

About the role

As an operational manager, you'll lead 6 line managers, supporting them through our exciting transformation journey. Working closely alongside trade union representatives, you'll need to be used to working in a challenging environment and ensure your team understands the commercial and competitive market we're in. They'll need to be customer focussed, open to new technology and flexible to change. You'll be responsible for ensuring the performance of your unit and for effectively maintaining the quality of service for our customers, as well as the overall safety of the people you manage.

Shift Patterns: Flexible attendance required, usually 06.30am to 2.30 pm with a certain amount of flexibility required, 5 days across Monday to Saturday with a rotating day off.

Your experience might be within retail, FMCG, or logistics, but your ability to motivate, inspire and lead is what we're looking for. With an annual budget of circa GBP650,000, you'll have an eye for detail and be confident in efficiently managing resources and budgets - all with a view to ensure your sector is working at its very best.
