About The Role CIQHP
As the Product Manager you will play a pivotal role in defining and scaling the solutions for the next generation of TRL's SaaS platform. focused on traffic, safety and asset management verticals. Your will support the development of an actionable roadmap - working with business stakeholders to deliver incremental releases, ensuring technical integrity of the product and the underlying platform. You will also be responsible for sales operations and inbound demand generation activities to result in qualified leads, working with cross-functional teams including sales, technology, engineering, product management, and corporate communications to drive product marketing activities necessary for growing TRL's market share.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop the strategy, plans and development roadmaps for a product or portfolio of products
- Ensure delivery against agreed roadmaps
- Support the development of a commercial proposition to underpin the product roadmap
- Gather and analyse client feedback and user experience data for your product to shape product enhancements
- Shape and lead the 'go to market' strategy for your product
- Collaborate effectively with others across the business to deliver the above
- Bring AGILE thinking to underpin product roadmap development
- Provide product technical support to product marketing campaigns
- Support product marketing and sales initiatives as the product lead
- Build external reputation our portfolio of products
- Harness new technologies to enhance products
- Ensure products are fully and accurately documented
- Work with the Head of Product Management to develop an integrated product strategy, plan and roadmap for TRL Software
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be able to articulate and execute on a vision that will address the needs of product teams and application developers. You will have the proven ability to assess market trends, identify customer problems, analyse new product opportunities, and deliver emerging products. You should have the confidence and gravitas to lead the development and execution of sales enablement and marketing programs to enable effective selling, align product positioning with industry trends and product advancements, and increase brand and product visibility through thought leadership activities.
- Experience in software marketing and product management gained in global IT product firms
- Proven experience in inbound & outbound product market development
- Proven SaaS Product Leadership experience - from product conceptualisation, launch, and customer acquisition to SaaS revenue management
- International experience in leading agile product management with globally distributed teams - including working with customers, focus groups, engineers, software developers, architects, QA and product managers
- Proven CRM systems experience - implementation, development and sustained used for growth. Salesforce experience is desirable.
- Willing to travel internationally.
- Excellent people and stakeholder management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
Qualifications
- A formal engineering degree or equivalent is highly desiralbe, ideally with a post graduate degree in Marketing and/or Product Management . We will consider conditates with an exceptional track record without these qualifications.
