Tekla Draughtsman Steel

Tekla Draughtsman / Detailer with experience in Tekla Structures required to join an industry leading structural engineering company based in North Yorkshire. They are specialists within light gauge steel framing, covering the complete process of design, manufacture, assembly and construction. They have become widely recognised throughout the UK and are looking to expand their forward thinking team.

The most suitable Tekla Draughtsman / Detailer will have a good understanding of Tekla Structures previously and have a background within the steel framing or structural steel work sector.

Tekla Draughtsman / Detailer Position Overview

• Producing 3D models of light gauge steel framing (LGSF) using Tekla Structures
• Working in the drawing office
• Producing and checking general arrangements, fabrication drawings and CAM data
• Work closely with other designers and clients to ensure projects are completed on time
• Using in house works management systems (full training will be given)

Tekla Drughtsman / Detailer Position Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience using Tekla Structures
• Steel framing or structural steelwork background
• Good communicator
• Good eye for detail
• Ability to work as part of a team

Tekla Draughtsman / Detailer Position Remuneration

• GBP25,000 - GBP40,000 (DOE)
• Company pension scheme
