Maternity (12 Months) | 37 hours p/week

Salary: £19,725 p/annum

The Client

Together Housing is a leading Housing Association, which is improving the lives of thousands of people across the North of England. We are currently looking for someone who is well organised and has a head for problem solving, to work with our repairs team based in Halifax, Calderdale. You will be working as a part of our responsive repairs team, which forms one of the bedrocks of the group.

The Role

This role will be to act as a maternity leave cover for an existing team member. 

You will have to ensure that we have the correct resources allocated to each repair, and that the technicians and engineers receive their repair jobs into their calendars in the most efficient route possible.

You will be providing a comprehensive support fallback to the team, ensuring that our electronic scheduling system is kept up to date, ensuring that all appointments are made and kept, and kept updated on a daily basis.

In order to successfully complete the role of works planner, based in Halifax, Calderdale, you will require the following key skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Experience of having worked in an office environment
  • Experience in supporting the delivery of a front line service
  • Experience of working to set target time scales and deadlines
  • The ability to organise your own workload with minimal supervision

The ideal candidate will also be able to show the understanding of budgeting in relation to the delivery of a repair service as well as experience of working in a social housing environment.
