Sales Account Manager
To support the continued growth of this company in both the UK and Europe, they are seeking to employ a new member in the sales team.
The Role
Working in the dynamic industry of sports nutrition you'll be responsible for maintaining a pool of accounts covering the UK and a range European territory. The customer base will range from retail stores, gyms, online resellers. You'll also be tasked with on boarding new business, both warm and cold leads. There is potential for international travel as part of the role. The role requires a high call rate, so turning no's into yes's is a key skill required!
The essentials
- A good grasp of numbers is good - Knowing your margins from your mark up is essential
- Organised - You'll be dealing with multiple customers, across multiple brands each speaking different languages
- A growth mindset - They don't expect you to know everything (no one does) but you need to be open to learning something new EVERYDAY
- Persistence - Sometimes people can be hard to pin down, you'll have to keep trying
Core skills
Experience in sales or negotiating
Speaking a foreign language would be desirable
Other stuff
HQ is based in Paddock Wood, Kent. Whilst you don't have to be local, weekly time in the office is needed.
Work hours are 9am - 6pm with out of hours worked expected at times
Package
£24,000 - £26,000 basic with commission on top (and free protein samples)
